Teams

Bristol & West has three teams in the Avon Netball League:

• A Team: play in Division 3
• B Team: play in Division 4
• C Team: play in Division 8 (newly promoted for 24/25 season)

Matches are played on Saturdays, with start times from 9:30 am until 2.40 pm. Teams do not play every week, and there are extended breaks over the school holidays.

Training

We train on Tuesday evenings indoors, at Clifton College Sports Ground at 7.30pm-9pm. 

Our lead coach is Kathryn Oldfield.  Kat brings great enthusiam and focus to our training.  She runs varied sessions that allow you to build and progress your netball skills, focussing on a particular element of the game each session.   In a typical session, Kat will take all attendees through some general fitness, before focusing on multi-stage drills to develop a skill and an opportunity to put these skills into practice using structured match play.   We also hold some sessions focussed on netball specific fitness, and hold a Tri-tournament throughout the season to ensure some competitive match play between the three teams.

Socials
We’re a friendly, social club. Our social secs work hard to organise socials throughout the year, as well as some challenges and competitions to keep up motivated!
