Welcome to the home of Bristol & West Netball Club
A little bit about us.....
The club was founded in 2000 by employees of Bristol & West Building Society who were keen to get fit, have fun and play competitive netball. In 2007 we merged with a very likeminded club, Blackthorn, who at the time were largely made up of employees from Bond Pearce Solicitors in Bristol. We have since gone from strength to strength and have grown to become a much broader spectrum of players who are not limited to just employees of Bristol & West or Bond Pearce.
The mission of the Club is to provide a fun and vibrant atmosphere where members of all ages and backgrounds can play and be involved in netball. The club aims to cater for all levels of players wishing to play netball in a social and fun environment.
After a hugely successful 2010/11 season, our 1st team has come second in Division 8 of the Avon & District Netball league, & look forward to the challenges of playing in Div 7 next season.
The 2nd team came a respectable 3rd in their first season in Div 9, and are set to challenge for promotion in 2012, and in only their second year in the league, the ever improving 3rd team finished 3rd also, and will undoubtedly be on course for the top of Div 11 next year.
We're looking forward to an exciting 2011/12 season.....
The club is growing every year with players and we are always looking for volunteers to help manage, coach, umpire as well as play! If you would like to be a part of it then please contact Bristol & West Netball Club
Calling all Juniors
Bristol & West have launched a Junior Netball Club catering for young netball players between the ages of 9 and 15.
